C. David McKirachan—Pastor

The Rev. C. David McKirachan has been pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Shrewsbury for 15 years.  This is his third church.  He attended San Francisco Theological Seminary and the Graduate Theological Union from which he received a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Philosophy. He has had two books published, I Happened Upon a Miracle and A Year of Wonder. He teaches Communications and Philosophy at Monmouth University.

Sherri Adler – Director of Christian Education
Sherri has been a member of PCAS since 1997 and was recently hired last August (2009) as Assistant Director of CE. She resides in Rumson, NJ with her husband Rob, teenage daughter, Ashley and Chocolate Lab, Cocoa.  She has been actively involved in the Rumson School District for the past ten years, as PTO President and currently Chairperson of the 8th Grade Class in Forrestdale School.  As ADCE, Sherri oversees the daily management of the Sunday School program, as well as, special events for the children through-out the year

Justin Ryan - Director of Music Ministries
Justin earned a Bachelor of Music in both Organ and Piano performance and a Minor in Double-Bass Performance from Kean University. He has served as the Music Director at various churches in the Monmouth County Area and has taught Music at a private elementary school. Justin now works as a  Faculty member at Georgian Court University, teaching Music and working with the Dance Department. He is an accomplished instrumentalist and composer/arranger.

Justin currently sits on the Board of Directors for Spotlight Players and for Oasis Players. He is a member of the American Guild of Organists and American Federation of Musicians Local 207-343, 16, and 802.

Jim Powers-Hill – Administrative Assistant
Jim is the first one you talk to when you call or come to the church office.  He also administers the church office, prints documents and reports, and does countless other things including helping David stay organized.  He is presently studying at Brookdale Community College with a focus on Social Work.

Jim also serves as co-chair of the Church and Society Committee whose focus is the mission of the church.

Juan Rivera - Sexton
Juan grew up in the church helping his father who was then our sexton.  He takes care of the grounds and the buildings.  Juan attended Brookdale Community College.

Juan also works with youth at Outreach Red Bank.
