Children & Youth Ministry
Sunday School
1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from September - June, 10am-11:15am for kids ages 5-12 (K-5th grade).
We teach foundational Bible Stories and Christian beliefs in an environment where children not only learn about loving God and neighbor, but experience it.
At 10am, our families come to worship. Kids are invited to sit together as a group with their teachers for the first 20 minutes of service. Teachers help the kids follow along. Pastor Katja invites the kids to the front for a brief children's message, after which they are dismissed to Sunday School.
Sunday School Lessons focus around learning a Bible Story, reinforced with activities, crafts, games that help kids connect with the story.
The kids do a mission project each year, collecting funds through the Noisy Offering once a month in worship, and deciding as a class how they want to make a difference for others with those funds.
Kidz Club
Ages 5-12
Wednesdays Nights 5:30-8pm, once a month (see schedule).
Fun, Games, Dinner, Songs, Crafts, and Bible Stories in a Camp-style gathering!
Where Sunday School is classroom-based and oriented towards learning, Kidz Club is all about making friends and experiencing the love and joy of Christian community. Kidz Club is held in our Fellowship Hall where there is tons of room to run around, to play games, to sing songs projected on a big screen, enjoy dinner together, and to be nurtured in faith and encouraged in the ways of Christ.

Youth Sunday
Confirmation Class
7th Grade and Up
We equip teens to start articulating and embracing their own faith. The Class teaches teens foundational Christian beliefs, Sacraments, and what is distinctive about the Presbyterian Church. Each class does a service project based on how they want to live out their faith.
Confirmation Class prepares students to make a profession of faith and become a full professing member of the church.
Youth Leadership Program
7th Grade and Up
As our children age up, we provide the opportunity for them to start becoming role models and assistant teachers for our younger students. This provides multiple benefits: they receive leadership training; they learn the lessons they assist teaching; they are challenged to live into the faith, not only for themselves but also to help others.
Many teens need community hours service for school or other programs. We award service hours for their efforts in this program.
This age group is very busy! This is a fantastic way in one activity to accomplish three things: faith development; leadership skills, and service hours all in one!
Worship Leadership
We believe kids and teens should be heard and seen in worship!
We regularly invite all ages to be readers, candlelighters, communion servers, greeters, and participate in music ministry.
We highlight their leadership on Youth Sunday and at Christmas as they share the Christmas Story in dramatic fashion.
