Location and Parking
There is on-site parking behind the Church House, which is located at 352 Sycamore Avenue, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702. The Church House is the 5th building from the corner of Highway 35 and Sycamore Avenue (Christ Church is on the corner, followed by Christ Church Parish House, our Sanctuary with the bright red doors, a private home, then our Church House). If your activity is in the Sanctuary, it's a short stroll up Sycamore Avenue (past the private home). Enter through the red doors where a Deacon will welcome you and answer any questions. Accessibility Church House There is handicapped parking and barrier-free entry through the front doors. The Fellowship Hall, Terrace Room, Alpha and Omega Rooms, restrooms, and church offices are all on the first floor. All but our kid's Sunday School take place in those areas. Sanctuary For those who cannot walk from the Church House parking lot, there is limited parking in the driveway adjacent to the Sanctuary where there is a handicapped entrance ramp. The sanctuary is air-conditioned in the summer. Welcome & Inclusion Our mission includes accepting, embracing, and welcoming all people. All means all! We strive to love our neighbors by showing respect, love, awareness, and sensitivity toward all who join us. Children & Youth We currently have Sunday School for elementary age kids on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. Visiting kids are welcome to join the Sunday School class, or stay in worship with parents or their caregivers. We follow a strict 'safe church' policy for the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of children and youth in our church. |
